Bubur (Congee) - Ayam, Babi or Ikan

Cooking Tools & Ingredients

  • Thermomix TM5, TM6 or TM7
  • 20g pork mince - or your choice of meat (chicken, pork, fish work best)
  • 10g soy sauce
  • 1-2 teaspoon sesame oil 
  • 200g long grain white rice
  • 1600g water
  • 2x eggs
  • 2x century egg
  • 2x salted egg
  • 2x teaspoons of powdered chicken stock
  • 2x teaspoons salt
  • 1x pinch of ground white pepper
  • 10g ginger
  • 2x sprigs of fresh coriander
  • 2 sprigs of leek/spring onion

Recipe

  2. Place chicken, soy sauce and sesame oil in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add all the ingredients as prompted.
  4. Serve with savoury croutons and/or fried shallots
