Moo Ping (Thai Pork Satay)

Cooking Tools & Ingredients

  • 1 kg pork shoulder
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 pcs Coriander roots
  • 2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 4 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 50 gr palm sugar
  • 3 tbsp coconut milk

Step by step

  1. Cut the pork to into slices ( i prefer slightly thick cut.
  2. Pound garlic and coriander into a paste.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients, mix them well and marinate for at least 3 hours (overnight is best).
  4. Thread the juicy chunks of marinated meat onto skewer sticks.
  5. Grill for approximately 10-15 minutes on hot charcoal. Alternatively, you can also use your oven.
  6. Best to serve with sticky rice when it’s hot!
