Pad Kra Pao - Chicken

Preparation & Cooking Time 30-45 minutes

Cooking Tools & Ingredients 

  • Frying Pan or Wok
  • 500g Chicken breast
  • 2 cup thai basil 
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce 
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce 
  • 1 tsp dark soy sauce 
  • 1/4 tsp sugar 
  • 3 cloves garlic - minced 
  • 2 eggs 
  • Red chili (optional)

Recipe 

  1. Cut the chicken breast to small pieces. You can also use mince chicken, pork or beef for Pad Kra Pao. 
  2. Heat up your pan / wok. 
  3. Sauté the garlic. 
  4. Add chicken and cook throughly (3-5mins).
  5. Add the seasoning. 
  6. Adjust the taste to your liking. 
  7. Add thai basil. Toss for 10 seconds. 
  8. Heat up your pan, add enough oil to make sunny side egg ( for crispier egg, you need to add a lot more oil).
  9. Enjoy your Pad Kra Pao with hot rice and sunny side eggs on top.
