Steamed Egg Tofu & Braised Pork

Cooking Tools & Ingredients
- 1 pack Silken tofu
- 2 eggs
- 250 ml water
- 1/2 tsp mushroom powder
- 200gr minced pork
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 250 ml water for the sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch to make a slurry
- 1 spring onion - chopped for garnish
Recipe
- Beat the eggs, then add water to make it thinner. Add mushroom powder.
- Sieve the eggs mixture straight to the tofu.
- Put in steamer for 10 minutes.
- While waiting, start to make the braised pork.
- Sauté the garlic until fragrant and add minced pork.
- Add your seasoning.
- Add water, then let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
- When the steamed egg and tofu is done, pour the sauce of braised pork on top of the tofu.
- Garnish with spring onion.
- Enjoy your tofu and braised pork!
